We ♥: Monkey Portraits

You may remember Jill Greenberg as the photographer who twice sparked controversy for her politically-charged (and self-admittedly "manipulative") approach to portraiture.

But putting politics (at least intra-species politics) aside for a moment, our personal favorite series by Greenberg can be found in her book Monkey Portraits:

Here are some highlights from the book:

This brings back memories from the long, long ago, at that store, that one time.

If they could talk, what do you think they would say?

"We better be getting paid for this."

Or...

1: "This here is my 'Cheney'."
2: "You're going on a coffee run? Can you get me a macchiato?"
3: "I think I sat in something."
4: "Roxanne, you don't have to put on the red light."
5: "What? What are you laughing at? What's so funny? Huh?"
6: "I'm an excellent driver. Yeah."
7: "Where am I?"

Anyone wanna take 8–12? The last one is so great!
